3ds Max, which used to be called 3D Studio Max, is created by Autodesk who also developed the Maya and the AutoCAD software. Autodesk 3ds Max is a 3D graphics program that is designed to work with the latest editions of the Microsoft Windows Operating System, though it was initially designed to work with the early versions of the MS DOS Operating System. 3ds Max can create effective and appealing 3D animations and models, much like Poser and other similar software applications, 3ds Max can be used to create realistic 3D models and representations.
3ds Max has a huge range of modeling features and capabilities and it can also impart a number of effects such as Shaders, Particle Systems, Radiosty and much more. 3ds Max is easy to use and comes with a user friendly interface that can be personalized by the user. 3ds Max also has its own scripting language. 3ds Max doesn’t require expert knowledge and technical prowess, but users do need to have some starting knowledge on how to use similar programs and how to write in basic codes.
